Bio
Daniel M. Marchant, OD is a licensed optometrist in Kansas and Ohio. He provides patient care in both medical and primary care optometry, with interests in glasses and contact lens fitting, ocular disease management and surgical comanagement. He enjoys working with patients of all ages.
Dr. Marchant grew up in the northwest Kansas town of Oakley. Upon graduation from Kansas State University, he received his professional training at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. After graduation, he practiced optometry in Toledo, Ohio to be near family. However, he always held an intention of returning to Kansas, and in 2009 he made the move back to join Grene Vision Group.
When Dr. Marchant is out of the office, he enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including fishing, hunting, hiking and walking his two Labs. "Joining Grene Vision Group has provided me with the opportunity to do what I love, which is the ability to practice full-scope optometry while utilizing the latest advancements in technology and equipment to provide my patients with the best care and products available."
