Bio
Robin L. Agpoon, OD is a family practice optometrist. Her interests include glasses and contact lens fitting, ocular disease and surgical comanagement. Dr. Agpoon tailors the comprehensive eye exam to thoroughly explore the effects of systemic diseases and conditions on eye health. She also works diligently to ensure vision aids maximize performance in demanding school and workplace environments. Dr. Agpoon was featured in both The Wichita Eagle and The Kansas City Star regarding the importance of sunwear and ocular UV protection.
Dr. Agpoon was born in Louisiana and moved to Wichita with her family in 1986. She attended Wichita State University and completed her undergraduate studies there. In 1997 she graduated magna cum laude from Northeastern State University College of Optometry. She moved back to Kansas and began practicing optometry, first in Wichita, then also in Derby in 1999. She moved to Derby in 2003 with her husband and children.
Dr. Agpoon is a member of Woodlawn United Methodist Church, Derby Chamber of Commerce, American Optometric Association and Kansas Optometric Association.
