Dr. Chundury Joins Grene Vision Group

Grene Vision Group Doctors and Staff welcome Rao V. Chundury, MD, MBA. He joins Samuel W. Amstutz, MD to expand Grene Vision Group’s Oculoplastics services. Dr. Chundury is a fellowship-trained aesthetic and reconstructive oculofacial surgeon who has practiced ophthalmology since 2014. He offers the latest techniques in cosmetic facial rejuvenation and functional eyelid/midface/orbital surgery. His clinical interests include medical and minimally invasive treatments for a variety of eyelid, orbit and tearing conditions.Rao V. Chundury, MD, MBA

Dr. Chundury graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in biology and earned his masters, medical and business degrees from Indiana University School of Medicine and Kelley School of Business in Indianapolis. He completed his residency at St. Louis University where he was Chief Resident followed by a two-year ASOPRS fellowship in aesthetic and reconstructive oculofacial surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Cole Eye Institute.

Following fellowship, Dr. Chundury became an Assistant Professor in Ophthalmology at Indiana University where he was also associate program director. He has more than 30 publications/book chapters, is a reviewer for several journals and has presented novel research at numerous national meetings. Dr. Chundury is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) and the American Society of Ophthalmic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS). He also serves on several AAO committees including the Oculoplastics ONE Editor's Choice committee. Dr. Chundury also serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery-University of Kansas School of Medicine.

In his free time, Dr. Chundury and his wife spend time losing at tennis against their 9-year old son and 7-year old daughter. They are looking forward to exploring all the great outdoor spaces in the Wichita area.
