Christopher B. Means, OD is a Kansas native, born and raised in Wichita. He graduated from Northwest High School in 1993. Dr. Means earned a Biochemistry degree from Wichita State University and went on to attend Optometry School at Northeastern State University School of Optometry in Tahlequah, Okla. He graduated Summa Cum Laude.
After graduation in 2002, Dr. Means moved back to Wichita to be closer to family and start up his own private practice right out of school. In 2008, he sought an opportunity to join Grene Vision Group. He practices full scope Optometric care for the entire family. He is a provider for the InfantSee and See To Learn programs (providing vision care for infants and toddlers) as well as a member of The College of Optometry in Vision Development (specializing in one of his favorite passions: helping those with vision-related learning problems needing Vision Therapy services).
Family and faith are his other passions. He is married to his lovely, giving wife, Tina. They currently have six children at home, Jacob, Caleb, Abigail, Hannah, Gabriel and Sarah. As a family, they love serving at their local church of First Baptist in El Dorado, Kan.
“Joining Grene Vision Group has allowed me the opportunity to provide the best total care for my patients with an amazing, caring staff and have the freedom to spend time with my family that I couldn’t have being a solo provider.”
